This impressive Edwardian country house in Oxfordshire, has large formal gardens, sumptuous stables, ornamental ponds and a walled garden, as well as a swimming pool surrounded by gated piers. Poundon House was built in 1908 and since then it has evolved into an authentic example of an eclectic English country house hotel.

The updated interior scheme explores the passage of time by conserving the old and blending in the new. The interior design scheme was established by looking at the history of the house and the history of the families’ furniture textiles and paintings. The Edwardian house has retained its authentic feel whilst still being a fantastic boutique hotel and wedding venue.
